Re: [Inf-IT DAVcl] Alternative iPad calendar client

Hello Johan,

as Ján previously said, the base of all iOS calendar apps are the standard core of iOS. The apps only give a different view to the data, some extend functionality locally on the iPhone.

I'm very happy with miCal ("the missing calendar") as it has a nice and very functional interface and many different views. It supports categories, but these are only stored locally and not synced via DAVical or other caldav providers. It supports reminders too.

An other nice app i know is Calendar 5, but for me the interface isn't so intentional like miCal. The functionality is similar.

As always in life, it's a kind of personal preferences.

Best regards,

Rudolf Graf von Roit zu Hoya

I didn't receive any suggestions so far, apparently everyone here is happy
with the standard iPad tool, or not using iDevices at all. I'll continue my
search elsewhere. If I find something I'll let you know.
